Connecting Your Meta Ad Account to AI Install
Connecting your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad account is required to run campaigns. This tutorial covers every step, including common troubleshooting scenarios.
Prerequisites
- A Facebook account with admin access to a Meta Business Suite
- An active Ad Account within that Business Suite
- A valid payment method attached to the Ad Account
If you do not have a Business Suite yet, go to business.facebook.com and create one — it takes about 5 minutes.
Navigate to Connections
From your AI Install dashboard, click Settings → Ad Accounts (or click the "Connect Meta" button if this is your first time).
Click "Connect Meta Account"
This opens a Facebook Login window. The permissions requested include:
- ads_management — Create and manage ad campaigns
- ads_read — Read campaign performance data
- pages_read_engagement — Access page data for ad creation
Select Your Ad Account
If you have multiple Ad Accounts, choose the one you want AI Install to manage. You can connect additional accounts later.
Verify the Connection
AI Install verifies the connection and displays your Ad Account status. You should see a green "Connected" badge.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
I do not see my Ad Account
Make sure you have admin access in Meta Business Suite. Go to Business Settings → Ad Accounts and verify your role.
Connection failed with an error
Clear your browser cache, make sure you are logged into the correct Facebook account, and disable any ad blockers that might interfere.
My Ad Account is disabled
You will need to resolve any issues directly with Meta through their support before AI Install can manage the account.
